Lamp 2166 A.D

This is a hypothetical museum infographic from the year 2166 that I made for one of my design classes at Cal State Channel Islands. The main objective of the project was to instruct viewers from the future how to use an everyday object from our time period. The secondary objective was to portray either the real or a fictional history of an object using graphs and original illustrations.

 

For this project I chose to create a future that invented a product that allowed people to see in the dark, and now thinks that desk lamps are archaic light sources from a darker time.
